I like making videos, I really enjoy videos that are adding real value. I've worked a lot with Venture Timaru on MyNextMove, WeLoveTimaru and
A recent video of Musterers was a lot of fun to make. Spending the night with them and the family was really nice. Hot tub to finish the night after a day of filming the kids on the flying fox and running around.
Murray and Jackie were great to work with and they make the Musterers a nice place to stay.
And they know what's great about the McKenzie area, I was lucky to have some good replies from my emails and messages looking for some additional footage to fit the second half of the video.
One of my favourite videos that never actually got finished (which sucks) was four safety videos for PrimePort. I was lucky enough to work with Steve and he was open to my ideas around how to make the video. I've got plenty of years in the electrical industry where safety is number one consideration. My views on workplace safety it's often the enemy rather than a peer. Another sign, another cone, another person being reprimanded by the guy who doesn't know him or how to do what he does.
The people who know it are the people doing it, they make the safety video.
Make it interesting, have fun with it, involve everyone possible and they'll all learn and never forget it.
Videos i'd like to make:
